First Tee of Tulsa

SHCC Is Instrumental in the Success of The First Tee of Tulsa Youth Golf Program

Southern Hills Country Club Charitable Foundation was instrumental in establishing The First Tee of Tulsa in 1999 to benefit the youth of Tulsa. Revenue from the 1995 and 1996 PGA TOUR Championships and additional contributions were placed in the Foundation and, since that time, the funds have been invested. (The Foundation is supported entirely by sources other than the Club's operational and capital funds.) The proceeds from these investments have been used to support The First Tee of Tulsa. In addition, Club management has actively solicited funds from local and national organizations to support these programs.

Southern Hills Country Club conducts the annual First Tee of Tulsa Charitable Golf Tournament every year and the total of the net proceeds from the tournament are used to support this program. Since the tournament began in 2001, over $1,695,400 has been raised. Asphalt & Fuel Supply and James D. & Cathryn M. Moore Foundation were the Presenting Sponsors of this year's tournament. The 2020 event was held on Monday, October 12th.  Tournament results:
